The customer will be responsible for any damage, normal wear and tear excluded, to equipment provided during the hire time period, including a one hour set-up and pack-up time period before and after the specific time period stated, unless damage is due to negligence of the contractors. The equipment of KDK Sound Ltd provided for the named performance / event is not available for use by other persons (public use) except by specific permission of KDK Sound Ltd.
It is the responsibility of the customer to take all reasonable steps by way of stipulation in booking or providing the venue for the event, to ensure a safe and suitable supply of electricity. Please note that all our equipment runs on standard UK mains 32, 16 and 13amp outlets. The contractor is not responsible for power outages or acts of God, nor is the contractor responsible for any equipment that fails at the event. In the unlikely event that equipment fails, the contractor will, on a best effort basis, find suitable back-up equipment. The contractor is not responsible for any damage to the venue where the services are provided, nor is the contractor responsible for any injuries which may occur, for whatever reason.
Faults with equipment must be reported immediately if they occur. Contact details will be provided with delivery of the equipment. We shall endeavour to rectify the problem as soon as possible. No allowance can be made for faults reported upon equipment return/collection. Non-returns will be charged for.
All equipment remains the property of KDK Sound Ltd at all times. Loss, damage, or theft of any items shall be the responsibility of the customer to whom service is provided. All costs of repair or replacement of items shall be paid for in full by the customer.The contractor reserves the right to cancel a booked event. In this unlikely case a full refund would be given. If the event is for any reason cancelled by the customer less than one calendar month prior to the date of the event a 25% booking fee will still be due to the contractor.
The contract is to be signed by the customer before or on the date of the event. A signed copy of this agreement will be returned to the customer upon request.
